The Beginning

For my dad :)
My time with you
was spent all night through
strumming along
to each song,
fret after fret
till we finally met
the very last song,
but don't get me wrong,
we weren't very sad,
but we weren't very glad
that we were at the end
of our Guitar Hero trend.

Nokia Hobby: Disney Edition!

I can't stop talking about this! Sorry if I bore you. :(

Here's what you've been waiting for!
NOKIA HOBBY: DISNEY EDITION!

When my family visits the Disney World parks, I often find myself without my disposable camera because I left it in our room, back at the resort. So, I simply pull out my phone and take pictures. With the way I am, one would think I left the camera in the room on purpose. (I like using my phone instead of a camera because I can still delete the picture and take a new one if I don't care for it since I don't have a digital camera.)
Anyways, I have lots of pictures of The Castle, the Epcot ball, and miscellaneous things found at Walt Disney World. A month after I received my beloved phone, we went to Disney World. On this trip, I took a picture that is now well known in my family. It was my first phone-picture of the Cinderella Castle, and still is the best. (Every time we go, I try to top it, but I can't!)

Also, I have a not-so-detailed picture of my mom and dad going to Epcot. At first, they are the only people you really notice, so I really like it. :)

But there were other times where I had my handy-dandy phone and took memorable pictures. Once on a safari in Animal Kingdom, the road was blocked by some hungry Giraffes. One was a younger Giraffe, and the other was older. Our guide had to drive us right by them, and we were so close to them that we could've probably touched them if we tried. It was awesome! I took some pretty pictures of them that I'm proud of. (I actually submitted one to a photo contest, but it didn't win. :/)

Like I've said before, I love this phone, and I don't want to upgrade it just yet. :D

I'm On the Road Again...I'm Happy to Take Pictures On the Road Again...

(I like the topic of my Nokia Hobby...apparently.)

I am thankful I cannot drive yet, or at least, that I do not have to drive yet.

Why? Because I think it would drive me insane to not be able to flip out my phone and take pictures of my surroundings (usually being the sky).

Each morning when my mom and I get in the car to go to school, I take at least one picture almost every day. Honestly! If you don't believe me, then you can ask her!

I've done this so often, that when I ask her if it bothers her that I'm sticking my phone out over the dashboard, she usually replies that she didn't even notice.

(Though, she could be exaggerating a little bit. I mean, come on! Who wouldn't notice someone just randomly sticking their hand out in the open?)

But anyways, when I drive, I won't be able to do this.

Man oh man. It will bother me so...

This picture is also a favorite. I think it was the weekend, judging by the clouds and the position of the Sun (I'm only out during the afternoons on the weekends during the school year [of course!]). I looked outside my window and was like, "Fluffy clouds!" and grabbed my phone to take a picture. You can tell I was in the car because, well, there's another car in the picture...

Nokia Hobby

When you hear about hobbies, the classic example of stamp collecting always comes up. Well, I have a hobby, but I can guarantee you it's not stamp collecting. My hobby is a bit more...unique.

I take pictures of the sky.

That doesn't sound so strange or different, you may think, but did I mention it's with my Nokia phone?

Yeah, my "hobby" is taking pictures of the sky with my Nokia flip-phone.

It's not one of the spectacular phones that came out this year that have amazing cameras; no, it's a three and a half (at least) year old phone, that happens to be my first phone, too. (I love it. :D)

Why do I do this?

Well, let's just say that if the world ever does turn out to be just like it was in the Bill Nye science videos where the kids are in protective suits and are "thanking" us for not doing anything about global warming, I'll have plenty of photos of the sky to post on the Internet (if we'd still be able to use it) for people that miss seeing the magnificent clouds that God painted in the sky each and every day for us.

:)

Haha, I think I'll just go with that explanation. ;)

(The picture I have on here is one of my favorites. I remember that I took it because I saw a face that looked like a pilot of some sort with a helmet and goggles on who had a large nose. Now, I see another face, one that has an eyebrow that leads off of his face. Someone else pointed out a blurry face with a round nose and that is smiling. So this picture is definitely one of my favorites because it has three faces in it, when I only took a picture of it for the one small face near the center.)

Dear Best-Friend, Please Don't Die!

I thought my dog, Ginger, might die soon.

(Okay, that's too dramatic! I just thought that her age might be getting the best of her or that she may be sick.)

One recent weekend, my dog was acting strange.

I was playing Halo 3 in my brother's room and she walked in. I called for her to jump up on the futon bed, but she didn't. I figured it was one of those times where she just felt lazy and forced you to pick her up, so I ignored her.

She left eventually, and came back later, though I didn't notice because I was in the middle of the game.

I was playing on Multi-player mode, so the game lasted for about 10-15 minutes. Once the game was over, I noticed her standing in front of the bed. Then I realized she had been there the whole time and her front two legs were shaking. I picked her up and put her on the bed next to me in the mound of blankets and played another game.

After that game was over, I looked at her again.

She had her head partially up looking at me.

I asked her if she wanted to go outside, thinking that maybe she needed to use the bathroom or just wanted to chase a squirrel.

She just kept looking at me.

Normally, her ears would perk up and she would sit up or jump off the bed and run in circles.

But she didn't.

Disturbed, I turned off my game and took her to my mom's bedroom.

I told my mom and the whole time, Ginger kept her head up and stared at me.

We didn't know what it could be and then my dad got home from work.

He said she could be sick, but still tried to get her to play with him.

She wouldn't.

He took her outside, making sure she walked on her own.

Normally, she would run off and play, but she didn't.

He took her inside and gave her a treat, thinking she might be happy to eat something, but she didn't eat it.

So he told me to go to bed with her and give her the treat.

Once on my bed, she ate it and seemed like her normal self.

All night, I prayed for God to let my BEST-FRIEND be fine again and hoped that it wasn't her age getting to her (she's 9 years old).

The next day, she seemed fine after breakfast and a bath.

I'm so glad that seems fine, and still does, but it scared me that night and morning after when she was shaky.

Call Me Donald

Recently, Alyssa has joined Stacie and me in the backroom of the library during lunch. Yesterday, Stacie and I accidentally made Alyssa mad, so we drew her pictures to make her happy again.
So today, we sat in the backroom and decided to draw again. Alyssa was first to begin drawing. She drew talking clouds, which led to an evil sun, which led to a Pokemon that could shoot rainbows. (We went a little crazy.)
I told Stacie to begin drawing because we only had 9 minutes left. She wanted to create a Pokemon that had never been done before. She chose a lion and gave it every Pokemon power that she could think of. It's attack would sound like, "Rurururrrurrurur!" XDD
Then Alyssa said we should be like those Pokemon trainers that base their outfits off of their Pokemon. She drew Stacie like her lion and then was thinking of what I Pokemon I would have.
Stacie and Alyssa decided I would have a duck-like Pokemon, and therefore look like a duck-like Pokemon. (They said that they "could see me with a bill.")
(-_-)"
So they drew me with a duck-head hat and tail.
I glanced at it and said, "Put a sailor suit on me and call me Donald."
They laughed their butts off and Stacie wrote down the quote.
She said its the new saying.
LAUGH AT ME SOME MORE WHY DON'T 'CHA? (.__.)"

EDIT: Happy now? I edited it and I only had 2 misspellings! 8D!
Sorry it seems rushed. As you can see in my comments, I hurried to write it. :)

To: All From: One

(Absolutley HATE to say this, but this is a sad post and is not like my usual, happy ones. Please forgive me.)

I'm sorry to say that today was one of the first times I actually had time to sit down and look at any of my friend's blogs, and still, it was only a few because I am too frightened to look at any more.
What I found...surprises...me.
I didn't expect to find there are many secrets, blown-up or not.
I didn't expect to find my friends in so much anger, confusion, and pain.
I didn't expect to find they're hurt more often than I thought.

I'm sorry, but I just didn't know.

I'm not saying that I hate not knowing what's happening 24/7, because it's probably best that I don't.
But I'm just saying I'm sorry.
I'm sorry that I'm so selfish that I haven't noticed your pain, or at least the extent of your pain.

I'm sorry to not one, but all.

La Cow-girl et La..GOOFY PIRATE! Day Two: Chapter Two

Chapter Two: Prepare for Me to Say Sorry

For hours, we were lost in that world; battling Heartless and fighting alongside Donald, Goofy, and sometimes the hero(ine) of that world.
Eventually, my mom called me out of my daze and I handed the controller to Stacie to take over. My mom told me that my dad needed my help with editing a coupon for the restaurant. My mom tried to open it on her laptop, but she was having problems because of the type of file it was. So I had to go to the 54 restaurant, which was only a mile from our house, so it was no big deal.
I was told that my sister was going to come pick me up, since she was working up there at the time and was on her break. I grabbed my laptop, in case I would need it. I saw Joy hadn't arrived yet, and I thought that I should go ahead and try to open the file while I was waiting, in case I would be able to stay at home and work on it. Right as I was opening my laptop, Joy pulled in the driveway. I left with her, assuming it wouldn't take too long.

But I was wrong.

Once at the restaurant, my dad showed me what he needed me to do for him. It was a simple job, and I though I would be able to just use Paint or even Microsoft Word. Truth be told, I would've if those two programs had smaller pixels, or at least were a little more "relaxed" about where the pixels could be....I won't bore you with the details, but a summary of what happened was we ran into problem after problem and eventually, we decided I would go home and email it to my dad.
My cousin took me home from there and I realized I was gone for over an hour, when I thought it would only be about 10 minutes. I was so mad, but I was mainly wondering what Stacie did.
I went inside to find that she escaped to my room and had been reading the manga of Chain of Memories. She told me that she basically saved the game right after I left and turned it off so I wouldn't miss any of it. I had left her trapped in my brother's room because of my dog. ...Oops.
She had looked to see if the coast was clear, and darted to my room.

I finished the coupons and apologized a thousand times to both Stacie and my Mom. Not only did I leave Stacie to experience severe boredom and my mom to deal with getting stuff set up for supper, I, unknowingly, forced them to wait until a quarter till NINE to eat supper. (EDIT: Okay, that might have been a possible exaggeration. I'm pretty sure it was at least 8--something...)

So eventually, we went to bed much better prepared this time than the last. :)

La Cow-girl et La..GOOFY PIRATE! Day Two: Chapter One

Chapter One: A Whole New World

A few times throughout the night, I found that I rolled off of the air mattress Stacie and I were sleeping on. Chilled from the immediate burst of night air, I scurried back under the blankets. Eventually, I found myself at the "If I roll off one more time..."state and just simply got out from under the warm, cozy sleeping bag and faced the frigid air with only my pajamas to protect me.

After carefully maneuvering around my mom's sleeping bag, I exited through the side door and made my way to the house for "morning grooming rituals**."

Once back at the campsite, I checked on the fire. The only thing left was hot ash (which was good, since no one watched it once we went to sleep). I grabbed some logs and newspaper to help it going, while occasionally adding handfuls of leaves to help out.

Eventually, the fire was a decent size and was burning pretty well. My mom had gotten up by then and I fetched her a cup of coffee from inside the house while making a cup of hot chocolate for myself. Stacie was still asleep inside the tent...lucky. XD

At one point, I went to go wake up Stacie by tickling her feet. :)
(I asked her later if this had bothered her and she told me that her dad does that to her a lot.)
After getting Stacie in the "fully-awake" mode, we ate breakfast.
My mom had made scrambled eggs, biscuits, and bacon for us. Thanks, Mom! :)

Once we stored the delicious meal in our tummies, we tried to figure out what we were going to do next. We could play Kingdom Hearts, Pokemon, or maybe I could convince Stacie to play Halo 3! ;D
I know, I know...Yeah right.

We chose to play my newest addition to my collection of Kingdom Hearts games--Re: Chain of Memories. (Stacie has CoM for her DS, but not for PlayStation 2.)

Excited, we raced to my brother's room and popped in the game disc. As the game started, we found ourselves being transported into a totally new world.

The world of Kingdom Hearts.

** This phrase is courtesy of my mother. Thanks, Mom! ;D
NOTE: Sorry it took so long for me to post this. I had it saved as a draft and just simply forgot it. SORRY STACIE!! (She is going to kill me for saying "Sorry" again...)
