The Annoyance of the Uncontrollable Dreams
Have you ever had one of those dreams that make you wake up and say, "Well, that was weird," to no one in particular? Was there ever a dream that made you wake up with a sigh of relief knowing the unstoppable horror film has stopped playing in your mind? It's happened one too many times for me.
Last night I actually had a mixture of the two. I dreamt that there was a freakish spider with not only 4 legs on each side, but EIGHT. Weird, right? In my dream, I got freaked out by it and left, but as soon as I got up and started for the next room, I realized it saw my movement and it began to follow me. Since its a dream, of course its going to be crazy, especially since the 16- legged spider crawled towards me pretty fast. About right then, I woke up.
Of course, once I'm awake, I have a moment of relief that it was just a dream, but then right afterwards I smack myself in the face. A sixteen-legged spider? How sad can it get?
Well...
Its pretty sad when it comes to the imagination.
Imagination is great and all, but when it gets the chance to go haywire in your dreams, you kinda wish you could turn it off. Then you have those moments when you want to think of an interesting idea for your blog and you get stuck with the lame Diana-Dreamer* idea. At that point, you really wish you had that wonderful imagination on/off switch!
Since mankind has not yet mastered the imagination power switch, I guess we'll have to deal with the strange dreams that are about you and your best friend going in search of a lost island bearing great treasures on The Black Pearl.
EDIT:
Diana-Dreamer*: similar to Freaked-out Freddy, Scared Sally, Peeved Pete, etc.
EDIT NUMBER TWO:
Diana-Dreamer and the others are just descriptive words with names that have the same-sounding first letters.

I wish I had dreams about being a pirate. :(
and what does all the Diana-dreamer and Freaked-out Freddy stuff mean? Haha. -dumb-
@edit 2: I knew that! I was just wondering what they meant... Is it like, you're being uncreative so you just think of something like "Spectacular Stacie" to name your blog?
Well, I guess you could say that.
They are sayings that I've heard before. I guess its just not of our generation.
Oh. Okay...
You'll have to explain this to me in greater detail next time we talk. Haha.
I always have very weird dreams. Nicely written!
I really like this blog! I agree with you totally. I'm thankful for sleep and good dreams :)
