30 Rockefeller Plaza
Recently, I've watched the ever-so praised TV show, 30 Rock which is one of Stacie and Alyssa's new favorite shows.
I've heard of this show from these two people for quite a while now, though for how long I am unsure of. It seems that almost every day I hear one of them state a quote, which, I've noticed, one of their favorites being, "I would--n't!" I've learned not to ask what it is from because the answer is always, "30 Rock." Each time they declare the origin of the quote, they add that I need to watch it, while including a smack on my arm. Eventually, I agreed to watch it. When it was time for the brand new episode to come on TV, I was not sitting in front of the television. Actually, I was still at a restaurant that my sister worked at because she and my mother were having a discussion.
(Even if I was at home, I doubt I would've remembered to watch it because I forgot what time it came on! Whoops!)
A week later, I was able to successfully watch an episode of 30 Rock.
And it happens to be that the one episode I see on TV is the one episode that Stacie and Alyssa didn't care for. It was all about a character named Jenna who, I presume, is not one of their favorite characters.
(After seeing that episode, I can't help but agree. She's too...no offence, but she's too air-headed.)
I haven't seen an episode on TV since then, but on one of our many snow days, I turned on the computer and watched them online, as many TV shows now put their older episodes on their website.
All I can say is this:
I wish I knew 30 Rock made reference to 30 Rockefeller Plaza so I could've scored better on that History quiz!
(Sorry, but it was a "you had to be there" kind-of moment.)
