Another Common Test for High School Students

...Or ACT for High School Students.

Many students in my Class have recently received their test scores for the ACT so you'll most likely hear someone talking about it. My friends and I have mentioned it a few times, mainly just to say were probably going to take it again. Though, a few of my friends have actually fussed at me for saying I'm going to retake the test because I'm not happy with my score. Well, what can I say? It's the truth. When I opened the envelope containing my score, I wasn't too thrilled to see a number lower than what I wanted. True, I did score well, but it's not what I was striving for. Though, I am happy that I was able to score this high and I can still get in many colleges with it, but I'll have to score higher if I want a "full-ride" into college.
Sadly, the subject I thought I would score highest in (Math) was tied (with Science) for my lowest score.  I think if I had managed my time better when we took the test, I could have scored higher. For English and Reading, I remember being surprised that I actually finished them. Maybe I'm reading faster or maybe I just had a healthy amount of sleep and had a good morning, but, either way, I did better than expected in those areas which was very pleasing.

My overall composite score was 29 (which means I ranked in the top 6% of the US), so I can see why I was fussed at. I suppose, thinking back, I did make it sound like I scored horribly, when I truly scored well. Oh well. My goal is at least a 31, though, preferably a 32. :)
